Roatan, St. John, Tough Mudder |

For a week in September, our family successfully avoided any foul weather, while on a family vacation on St. John Island in the Caribbean. We rented a nice house with a great view and it's own swimming pool. We also boated to Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands and fished the South Drop near St. Croix. After returning home, I immediately left again to join the Bluegrass Dive Club on Roatan, Honduras, for a week of scuba diving. Kathy and I then enjoyed the fall colors for three days at the Blackberry Farm in Tennessee, and then I spent the weekend in Maysville, Kentucky with a team of eleven, participating in a "Tough Mudder" twelve mile military obstacle course. I did finish the course, and didn't skip any obstacles, but it did take me nearly six hours. I'm glad I was able to finish the course, but probably will not be doing another one of these!
